POKER HUNT: There will be pennies with a corner of a playing card taped to them face down. They will not be buried so you won’t need a digging tool. You are to find 5 pennies and return them to the hunt coordinator’s table to be recorded. Do not remove tape. If the tape has been opened, you will be disqualified. There will be 1st thru 3rd places. After you locate your 5 coins and turn them in, you are not to return to the hunt field. Move on to Pinpoint Area.
11:15 – 12.00pm – PINPOINT CONTEST
PINPOINT CONTEST: You will have 30 seconds to mark your X where you think the center of the coin is. This way everyone should have plenty of time to eat before the Main Hunt. 12:00 – 1:15 pm – LUNCH
1:15 – 1:45 pm – YOUTH HUNT FREE YOUTH HUNT!!!!! “Does not include lunch!” Open to youths 12 and under. You can stand outside the hunt area and cheer them on, but you must stay outside the hunt area boundary.
1:50 – 2:50 pm – MAIN HUNT
MAIN HUNT: There will be silver coins and a large amount of prize tokens, with numbers on them, which will be buried in the hunt area. You keep all the silver you find. When the Master Hunter Shootout competition is over, bring all of your tokens to the hunt coordinator’s area where prizes will be awarded according to the number on the token. Find as many tokens as you can.
2:50 - 3:10pm -
MASTER HUNTER TROPHY SHOOTOUT!
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in the Poker Hunt & Pinpoint Contest will compete for Master Hunter of The Year Trophy. There will be hundreds of painted pennies scattered in the grass. Hunters will have 15 minutes to find as many of them as possible in this time and take them to the Hunt Coordinator's table to be counted. The hunter with the most painted pennies will become The 2013 Master Hunter of the Year. Good Luck!
3:15pm - PRIZE PRESENTATION WITH DOOR PRIZE DRAWINGS TO FOLLOW.
You will be given a name badge when you register and it must be worn for the entire hunt period. You will also be given a raffle ticket for the door prize drawings. Be sure not to lose it, no replacement will be given. The cost is --------$75.00----- for the whole day (all hunts) including lunch. I am keeping the price at $75.00 because of the late issue of ad's in mag's and websites. Registration form
must be received by September 7th so we know how many lunches we need. Lunch will be available for $8.00 for those not participating in any of the hunts and those participating in the youth hunt only. If purchasing a lunch at the hunt, please have the correct amount.
